What is Turtle Moon?

Turtle Moon is a tiny lunar universe you can wear on your wrist.

Each bracelet is inspired by one of the 13 moons in the year—Beaver, Cold, Pink, Snow, Flower, and beyond. Every Moon has its own energy, its own season, its own “era” you might be in right now.

Some Moons are for soft resets.
Some are for boundaries and big main-character energy.
Some are for cozy rebuilding and quietly getting your life aligned.

You don’t just “pick a bracelet.”
You wear the Moon you’re in… and collect the ones you’re growing into.

How it started

Turtle Moon was born at a workbench, not a boardroom.

I’m Allison, the maker behind Turtle Moon. I started beading during one of the hardest chapters of my life—after deep loss, big heartbreak, and a full-on unraveling of the version of life I thought I “should” have.

Beading became medicine.
One bead, one stitch, one small act of creation at a time.

I was raised around teachings that honored the Earth, the seasons, and the Moon’s cycles. The Moon wasn’t just a pretty thing in the sky—it was a way of marking time, change, and what our spirits were moving through.

So when I began designing bracelets, it felt natural to follow the Moons.
First came the 13 Moons as a concept.
Then came a bracelet for each one.

Slowly, this little idea—What if you could wear the Moon you’re in?—turned into Turtle Moon.

Why 13 Moons?

Most calendars tell you what day it is.
The Moons help you feel where you’re at.

The 13 Moons Collection is built around the energy of each Moon, translated into color, stone, and story:

  • Pink Moon for louder self-love and softer standards.

  • Snow Moon for muting the noise so you can hear yourself again.

Why “Turtle Moon”?

The turtle is a keeper of time in many stories—steady, grounded, ancient.
The Moon is ever-changing—waxing, waning, shifting, reflecting light.

slow and steady growth, honest change, and cycles that repeat until we finally listen to what they’re trying to teach us.

It’s a reminder that:

Meet the maker (hi, I’m Allison)

I’m a jewelry artist, single mom, nature nerd, feelings-haver, and the hands behind every Turtle Moon bracelet.

I run a cozy boutique in a historic mill and a second shop in Olde Mistick Village, where I’m constantly surrounded by makers, bakers, and other people brave enough to build something from nothing.

Turtle Moon is my love letter to:

  • The planet and its rhythms

  • The girls, gays, and theys who feel “too sensitive” but keep going anyway

  • Anyone rebuilding their life from the ground up and wanting something small, beautiful, and meaningful to mark that journey
